2 months left to submit your core-geous designs

Following an artist information evening last night at Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance HQ in Waddington, artists aspiring to have their creations chosen for the fourth Lincoln BIG 'Wild in Art' sculpture trail have 2 months to submit their designs.

Previous trails have included the Lincoln Barons' Trail in 2015, the Knights' Trail in 2017 and the Lincoln Imp's trail in 2021, all of which were both immensely popular and raised almost £500k for charity when the sculptures are auctioned off at the completion of the trail.

The Isaac Newton 300 trail will celebrate the 300th anniversary of the death of Sir Isaac Newton, who has significant connections to Lincolnshire, including attending The King's School in Grantham. The trail consists of large, 1 meter wide apple sculptures that will all be individually designed by artists.

There will also be a dedicated school's trail of smaller sculptures created by local children and young people keen to display their talents. The trails will be present on the streets of Lincoln from 30th June to 22nd September 2027.

The trail for 2027 will help raise awareness for charity partner, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance as well as raise funds at the auction planned for October.
