Shooting Star reaches 20 year milestone

Lincoln based marketing and PR agency, Shooting Star are celebrating 20 years in business. Founded in 2006 by Kate Strawson and Jez Ashberry, the agency held an event to mark the occasion.

“Twenty years in business is quite a milestone, and it was wonderful to celebrate with clients,

suppliers, supporters and friends we’ve met along the way,” said Shooting Star Director Kate Strawson.

“We’ve achieved a lot but we’re not resting on our laurels – here’s to what the next 20 years will bring!”

Charlotte Pike of Beatson Clark, Shooting Star's longest-serving client, said: "We've worked with Shooting Star for 15 of those 20 years and they’ve built some amazing relationships with our key press, which has meant that we've had consistent positive articles and features in trade publications.

"They’ve also helped with many more things too, from award entry writing to social media training. We just want to say a huge thank you and hope Shooting Star is still here in another 20 years!"

One area Shooting Star is particularly proud of is its consistent support for young people seeking insight into the PR industry, providing over 100 work experience and internship placements that can be invaluable for career development.
