Growing Together: Lincolnshire Farming Conference 2027

The Lincolnshire Farming Conference returns to the EPIC Centre at Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday 11 February 2027. Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS), the day brings farmers, producers, advisers, suppliers and industry leaders together, and registration is now open.

The conference gives people from across agriculture the chance to exchange experiences, tackle shared challenges and identify practical opportunities to move the industry forward. This year's theme, 'Growing Together', puts collaboration across the food and farming supply chain centre stage, with expert speakers and workshops exploring how stronger partnerships, fresh thinking and shared knowledge can unlock new opportunities and build a more resilient future for agriculture.

New for this year is cabaret-style seating, designed to encourage more conversation and collaboration throughout the day. Plus a new breakfast workshop, When Two Become One: Working Together for the Future of Farming, with breakfast included and pre-booking required. The programme also features two additional workshops: The Pig and Poultry Livestock Business Workshop and The Great British Solar Harvest – Too Good to Be True?

Lincolnshire Farming Conference Chair and LAS Trustee Robert Nelstrop said: “The Lincolnshire Farming Conference continues to be an important event in the farming calendar. This year, we have some fantastic speakers lined up, including Colin Chappell, who was recently named Environmental Champion of the Year; Dr Amy Jackson from Oxtale; Steve Barker from Dyson Farming; Sue Pritchard from the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission; and our keynote speaker, Professor Tim Lang, Professor Emeritus of Food Policy.

“With many sectors of the industry facing significant challenges, we will hear from an inspiring line-up of speakers on the theme of ‘Growing Together’

“It is a period of huge challenge, but with that comes opportunity. I am pleased to chair a conference that will inspire and kick-start an exciting 2027."

The conference runs from 9.30am to 4pm. Tickets are £35 per person, £20 for students and free for members of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, and are available at www.lincolnshireshowground.co.uk/farming-conference.
